Payment
Effective September 1, 2009 - $200 Deposit/per bus will be required upon booking. Final payments are due in full before the chartered bus departs from the pick up location.

Cancellation Policy
In the event of a cancellation, Island Charter requires that the customer cancel this in writing and submit, either via fax to 718-816-6171 or e-mail to service@islandcharter.com.

*There is no cancellation fee if a trip is cancelled at least 12 hours before scheduled pick up time.

Driver Hours
The Federal Department of Transportation (DOT) safety regulations prohibit drivers to be on duty for more than fifteen hours/per day. Each driver must have eight consecutive hours off before resuming service.

Tolls
Island Charter's pricing structure includes tolls. However, parking charges are the responsibility of the customer.

Deposits
Island Charter reserves the right request a $200 deposit per reserved charter bus.

Overtime
Customers will incur an additional rate of $75/per hour for late start back.

Video/Audio Equipment
Customer assumes responsibility for the use of any video or audio equipment aboard an Island Charter vehicle. This responsibility includes, but is not limited to supplying video and compliance with copyright or public performance rights (which may apply to video or audio products used and full restitution for any damage to equipment resulting from the customers use thereof).

Damage to a Vehicle
If an Island Charter vehicle is damaged during chartered trip, charges to customer will be incurred.

Arrival Time
Island Charter cannot be held responsible if a bus arrives late to its destination*. (E.g., inclement weather, poor traffic conditions, etc.).
*This does apply to origin point.

Personal Property
Island Charter assumes no responsibility for lost or damaged baggage/personal property.

Offensive Individuals
Island Charter reserves the right to refuse to transport any person or persons under the influence of alcohol or drugs and those that are likely to become objectionable to other individuals on the vehicle.

Alcohol
No Alcoholic Beverages are permitted aboard Island Charter'’s fleet of vehicles.

Gratuities
Gratuities are not included in trip price.

Island Charter requests that for the comfort of all passengers, please observe the following list of rules while riding:

• No Smoking
• No Eating or Drinking
• No Littering
• No Radios
• No Cell Phones (we do understand the need to use a cell phone for certain situations, but please be respective of your fellow passengers and limit your cell phone usage to urgent matters only.)
